Services rooted in my own journey.

I envision a world in which people and organizations operate with agency, intention, joy, and care informed by attention to what makes us unique and what brings us together.

Like you, I’ve been on my own personal journey.

I suppose I could tell you I had it all figured out from the start.

But I’m not here to lie to you - I’m here to journey, together.

I’ve experienced life’s ups and downs including job and role changes, mental and physical health challenges and recoveries, learning to call new places “home,” and more. Along the way I’ve been fortunate to learn a range of mindfulness, management, and relationship tools and practices. Over 25 years ago, I began on a path that has included:

  • Advising Fortune 500 executives on business strategy

  • Dancing with others in the heat of a kitchen while cooking meals for people fighting hunger and poverty

  • Conducting evaluations and delivering findings and strategy recommendations to nonprofit and philanthropy professionals

  • Partnering with smallholder farmers in rural Kenya and coming up with new products and services to improve their livelihoods

  • Facilitating virtual and in-person learning sessions on power dynamics, social identities, systemic inequity, and belonging

  • Leading diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at a global social impact consultancy, and

  • Coaching individuals toward their best selves.

My life experiences and identities have significantly shaped who I am today.

I’m grateful for the learning experiences that inform my work:

  • Graduate of UC Berkeley (undergrad) and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (MBA)

  • Former management and strategy consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and Bain & Company

  • Director of Program Innovation for One Acre Fund in rural Kenya

  • Former consultant and member of senior leadership at FSG, a non-profit social impact consulting firm. I served as the global entity’s head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for nearly 10 years. While I was based in Seattle (USA), I also spent one year based in Mumbai (India)

  • Certified as a professional coach by the International Coaching Federation (ACC level); trained Positive Intelligence/Mental Fitness coach

  • Member of core faculty at the Right Use of Power Institute, delivering training on power-conscious practices including co-facilitating a week-long residential retreat on Power and Equity Consciousness

  • Graduate of Nalanda Institute’s Embodiment Year contemplative (Buddhist) psychology program (focus on social justice)

  • Certified as a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory

  • Former Board member

    • Inside Out Community Arts (arts education in systemically under-resourced schools and communities), and

    • Shambhala Meditation Center of Seattle (local chapter of global movement to foster enlightened society, rooted in Tibetan Buddhism and knowledge from multiple traditional cultures)

I’m a first-generation, US-born daughter of two immigrants from different national, racial, and language backgrounds. I continually work to better understand myself along with the context in which I operate, and to make more informed, conscious, and intentional choices.

I’m regularly learning valuable lessons in how to find even the smallest space in which I can stop my auto-pilot from taking over - and am passionate about helping others do the same.
